Jake Harvey works with a variety of materials including base metal, granite, basalt, marble and limestone. He is also a very experienced fly fisherman – captaining Team Scotland at international competitions – and his love of fishing and the architecture of the landscape is evident in his work

Jake Harvey was born in the Scottish Border town of Kelso in 1948 and is Emeritus Professor and former Head of Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art. He lives with his family in the Scottish Borders and continues to produce an amazing work, both in metal and in stone. In his spare time, Jake is a very keen and excellent fly fisherman and has represented and captained the Scotland Team at international competitions.
