Cate Inglis is an urban landscape painter based in Glasgow. Her work explores the fragility and transient nature of the built environment. A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, recent awards include the Royal Glasgow Institute (RGI)
Armour Award for landscape painting of distinction (2013);
The Open Eye Gallery Exhibition Prize (2014) and the Paisley Art Institute (PAI) Art Hire Framing Prize (2015).
Exhibits regularly in the UK and is represented by established galleries in London,
Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
