Michael Chippendale BA studied fine art at Newcastle University between 1965 and 1969. Then took a 40 year sabbatical to run various design enterprises. He is one of the world’s most respected stencil designers and uses them in many of his artworks. This allows the paintings to be reproduced accurately in small, limited editions of original works, the brushwork varies from painting to painting but the image retains its essential characteristics.
His work is held in private collections in Europe and the USA.
