I am delighted to be back at Sage Gateshead with another Scottish Art Exhibition. This show features artists shown by the Gallery over the past 28 years together with some who are exhibiting with the Gallery for the first time. There are Scottish landscapes of Skye, Iona, Mull and the Outer Hebrides by Jolomo and Robert Kelsey, a stunning and vibrant still life called “Two Toucans and Tahitian Girl” and a French scene by Jack Morrocco. Also in the exhibition are 5 pictures by David McClure and two chalk drawings of a “Boy in a brown Jersey” and “Glasgow Houses” by the internationally known Scottish Artist Joan Eardley RSA. There are watercolour and oil paintings of flowers by Liz Knox, Jenny Matthews and Alison McWhirter, 3 stunning abstract paintings by Christopher Wood and many more.
Admission to the Scottish Art exhibition is free and is open from 24 – 29 November from 11am to 10pm at Sage Gateshead.
